GRAAFF-REINET BOWLING NEWS - The Spar Handicap Pairs took place at the Graaff-Reinet Bowling Club on Saturday 17 October, where team Ivor Wakeford and Corrie van Zyl - Advertiser's very own sales executive - were crowned champions of the event.
Sixteen players took part in the competition, which was previously postponed due to rain. Hansie Jordaan, an avid bowler himself, was the Spar sponsor and presented vouchers to Wakeford and Van Zyl.
The Graaff-Reinet Bowling Club would like to congratulate members Charlene Colyn, Priscilla West, Niel Colyn and Wally Koetaan on being invited to take part in the Eastern Province Squad selection in Port Elizabeth which started last weekend.
"We wish them good bowling and good luck for the final selections in December," said Pam Neuweiler on behalf of the club.
