GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Planning is already underway for the second annual Koedoeskloof MTB Challenge which was held for the first time to great acclaim during the Karoo-lus festival weekend last year.

The Koedoeskloof MTB Challenge promises participants an exciting and physical challenge, breath taking views and of course the chance to win prizes to the value of R5 000.

Entry forms are already available online at www.hvsgrt.org.za/mtb.

The event, which takes place on Saturday, 29 September, is being organised by Hoër Volkskool in Graaff-Reinet and will be just one of the many exciting events included in the weekend's festival line-up.

Those wishing to participate in the race have a choice between the 80km route and a 40km route. Bikers will enjoy panoramic views and big climbs on the 80km route and those attempting the 40km route can enjoy the same striking views of the Karoo without the big climbs.

Participants can be accommodated in the local school hostels.
