GRAAFF-REINET BOWLING NEWS - Fourteen bowlers battled it out in the monthly Spandau Spar Handicap Pairs competition, hosted by the Graaff-Reinet Bowling Club last week Saturday.
The games were tight: two teams ended on + 5, and both sides had identical wins.
However, after much calculation, team members Alid Els and Peter van den Berg were declared the winners.
They were awarded with shopping vouchers.
The annual Union versus Volkskool evening will take place at the club on 7 August at 5.30pm. Interested parties can contact Priscilla Kasperski (Union) or Pieter Nel (Volkskool) to enter their sides.
