GRAAFF-REINET BOWLING NEWS — Last Saturday afternoon 16 bowlers competed in the monthly Spandau Spar Handicap Pairs competition on the greens of the Graaff-Reinet Bowling Club.
At the end of the day, the combination of Bernie Prinsloo and Peter Kingwill claimed the vouchers up for grabs, beating their opponents by 15 shots.
Graaff-Reinet wins Murraysburg Open Day
On Saturday, 5 May, a team from the Graaff-Reinet Bowling Club, comprising Robert and Christine Scott, Pieter Nel and Ivor Wakeford, competed against eleven other sides in the Murraysburg Open Day competition.
Besides winning the competition, the Graaff-Reinet team also carded a full-house 8, to round off a successful day.
The winners would like to thank the host club and their sponsors for a great day.
