GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — The final round of the Mr Paint/Flashcor Printing Business League will be played at the Graaff-Reinet Bowling Club tomorrow evening, starting at 5.30pm.
The prize-giving will take place after the final round has been played, followed by a steak braai.
After five rounds of bowls, only one team remains undefeated. This honour goes to Midboard on 10 game points and + 19 shots.Their opponents will be Mr Paint, on 8 + 35. Theoretically, the winner of the competition should be one of these two sides. However, Hoer Volkskool, on 8 + 20 and Quest on 8 + 19 are hoping for a Mr Paint win - by one shot - and that they win by 17 and 18 shots respectively, to claim the title.
PG Glass, on 8 + 5, could find the gap, a bridge too far.
The chase for the Wooden Spoon is between Midland Ford and Akademie, while Dentist@Health, Agri Hydra, Veediefstal and Dr Laubscher are also in the running for this dubious distinction.
