GRAAFF-REINET GOLF NEWS — In the monthly Medal competition at the Graaff-Reinet Golf Club sponsored by Pick n Pay, Clive Ludick played an exceptional round of golf winning the medal and A Division with a 62 net.
Weppie Weideman with 73 net won the B Division and Stoney Steenkamp the C Division with 74 net. There was a pleasing turn-out of players.
On Wednesday, Dan Yeadon on 33 points won the Gold Rush sponsored IPS competition followed by Niek Steyn on 32 points.
Bernie Weyer (19 points) won the Sundowner on Friday with Charl du Plessis in second place (17 points).
This Saturday, 11 August, will be an IPS Competition with tee-off at 11:30.
Members are encouraged to attend the AGM on 18 August at 10:00 followed by a 4-Ball Alliance.
The committee is hoping to make this a very special fun-filled day for regular and non-regular players.
In each 4-Ball there must be a player with a handicap of 10 or less; one player with a handicap between 11 and 18; a player with a handicap between 19 and 24 and a player with a handicap of 25 upwards.
