GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — This past Saturday saw the Graaff-Reinet Golf Club host their first monthly medal competition for the year.
The competition – which was sponsored by Nommerpas and Derek Light – was won by Charl du Plessis with 67 Nett, he was followed by Jaco Venter in second place with 71 Nett and Lyndon Friend in third place on 71 Nett (count out).
The first weekly Wednesday IPS competition played on January 3 – which was as usual sponsored by the Desert Springs Spur – was won by Hein Cloete with 40 points while the Friday sundowner on January 6 was won by Charl du Plessis with 21 points.
This coming Saturday, January 14, golfers can tee off at 12.30pm in an IPS competition.
The Business League will also kick off on February 3 – interested golfers can enter at the club.
