SOCCER NEWS - Kaizer Chiefs legend Johannes 'Big Boy' Kholoane believes that Amakhosi's Player of the Season, Siphiwe Tshabalala, gets success because he takes calculated gambles on the pitch.
Shabba enjoyed a great season personally despite the club failing to win any trophies in 2016/17. The veteran scored eight goals in all competitions including a number of contenders for goal of the season.
As such, Kholoane, who played for Chiefs from 1972 until early 1976 as a speedy winger, told the club's official website: "He made a difference whenever he played, stamping his authority. Shabba knows that soccer is a game of risks.
"That's why he takes chances, like his two recent marvelous goals against Cape Town City and SuperSport United."
