NATIONAL NEWS - KNYSNA NEWS & VIDEO - Where else in Knysna can one hear the snorting and snuffling of pigs wandering about suburbs, but also see Eqyptian geese gaggling and walking in the middle of the road with their tiny goslings as though they own the town?
On Sunday morning, March 22, a police dog unit vehicle adapted its role to that of a mobile geese shepherd by assisting a family of tiny goslings led by their Egyptian geese parents on their hazardous journey through the streets.
People are very often seen ‘walking’ these geese to the waterfront, but in this case it was extra special to see that even police care about our feathered community.
