NATIONAL NEWS - A case against a real estate agent, who called a police officer the k-word, has been postponed to next month, in the Randburg Magistrates Court.
Vicki Momberg sparked widespread outrage, after she was captured on video hurling insults at black officers after she had been involved in a smash and grab incident, in Northriding, in February.
The National Prosecuting Authority pressed charges of crimen injuria against her and will present evidence in the next court appearance
Momberg shied away from cameras in court during her first appearance.
The National Prosecuting Authority’s Phindile Louw says such cases are important to protect the dignity of all South Africans.
