NATIONAL NEWS - An Icelandic friend of Oscar Pistorius’s has testified about his loving and caring nature towards children.
This was heard on Day Two of sentence proceedings, which are being held at the High Court in Pretoria.
Pistorius is being sentenced as a murderer for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp three years ago.
Defence advocate Barry Roux told the court he called the witness after questions yesterday about Pistorius’s suitability to work with children.
Ebba Gudmundsdottir says his family contacted Pistorius more than a decade ago when she found out her son would be born without legs.
