GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Local police are investigating a case of murder after a woman's body was found outside Graaff-Reinet at around 06:30 this morning (Thursday 13 June).

According to Captain Bradley Rawlinson, spokesperson for the Graaff-Reinet SAPS, police found the blonde woman's lifeless body next to the N9 in the direction of Middleburg, after they received an anonymous tip-off.

Rawlinson estimated that the woman was in her 30s.

"Police found [the woman] with an open wound on the side of her head," Rawlinson told the Graaff-Reinet Advertiser. The deceased was wearing a pair of jeans and a blue shirt.
