COOKHOUSE NEWS - Two Cookhouse men, aged 18 and 27, were arrested on Saturday evening for possession of Mandrax tablets and tik straws worth over R700.
According to Capt Bradley Rawlinson, police spokesperson, the arrest followed a patrol in the Cookhouse area. “Patrolling members saw a man running into a house on Skhuluo Street,” said Rawlinson. “Upon investigation inside the house, they found [the drugs] and an undisclosed amount of cash hidden.”
The drug are estimated to be worth R760.
The suspects will appear in the Somerset East Regional Court today (17 August), on charges relating to possession of Mandrax and tik.
