GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - A raffle with a difference has been organised to raise funds for St James’ Anglican Church in Graaff-Reinet and its outstations in Kendrew, Steytlerville and Aberdeen.
With the help of some very generous sponsors, Graham Harris has put together an online hunt raffle offering some wonderful prizes, under the auspices of the Rector, Dr Rev Mark Marais.
There are seven grand prizes on offer, all including self-catering accommodation for two for each winner. Additional guests can be arranged with the hosts.
The draw will be done on a random number selection conducted by Arland Stanley Accountants in Graaff-Reinet on Monday, 3 June.
There is no restriction to the number of entries per entrant. As an added incentive, for every ten tickets purchased, one additional free ticket will be entered into the draw. Tickets may only be bought online at R100 per ticket, using the following link. More details of the individual prizes are also available on the website.
The prizes are valid for the duration of the 2019 Eastern Cape hunting season, ending 31 August 2019.
If the winner is unable to hunt, the prize can be hunted on their behalf, and the meat processed and shipped at the winner’s own cost.
The organisers are very grateful to the following sponsors: Julian Murray of Bloemhof; Marrion Rubidge of Wellwood; Philip & Sandy Putziger of Poplar Grove and Little Africa Farm Cottage; Mackie & Jess Hobson of Sheperd's Tree Game Farm; Judy, David, Chris Dugmore and family of De Nek; Tim & Lisa Murray of Roode Bloem; Garth & Elsa Feathersone of Zeeekoeigat; John-Allen and Jonathan Biggs of Vrede Farm; Wolmar Kemp of Africa Anyway Safaris, and Graham and Helen Harris of Tandjiesview.
