GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — It is almost six months since the tragic murder of Graaff-Reinet resident Conrad Spingies in his home on the corner of Park Street and Cradock Street in the early hours of 29 September 2017.
In response to many enquiries, SAPS have confirmed that case is still under investigation.
Graaff-Reinet Cluster Commander, Brigadier Rudolph Adolph, asked again for any information in relation to the case from the community. “Someone, somewhere, knows something about this murder,” he said.
The Spingies family is desperate for the case to be solved, and for their father’s murderer to receive the punishment he or she deserves.
“Please don't let this fade into another unsolved statistic in South Africa,” said his daughter Gisela.
“Please talk about this. Talk to your neighbours. Talk to your staff. Talk to your colleagues and the people you employ.”
She also reiterated Brig Adolph’s belief that information around this murder being kept quiet within the community, and pleaded for information so that the murderer can be brought to justice.
