GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - For the first time, needy children in this area are benefitting from the Santa Shoebox project.
Each child receives a personalised brightly-covered shoebox, filled with treats, personal hygiene items, educational stationery supplies, and a brand new outfit of clothing.
Children have been identified in foster homes and facilities in Graaff-Reinet, Aberdeen and Pearston, and good Samaritans in the area have been busy putting the boxes together.
The first boxes have been delivered in Graaff-Reinet and Pearston this week, and the delight on the children’s faces made all the hard work worthwhile.
