GRAAFF-REINET NEWS – After four years of service as the resident organist at the Dutch Reformed Church (NG Nuwekerk) in Graaff-Reinet, Rev Noel-Jean Creille will be leaving town.
Creille will be taking up an appointment in which he will serve Port Alfred and Grahamstown.
While in Graaff-Reinet, Crielle also served as priest at the St James Anglican Church for two and a half years.
Creille’s Valedictory Service at St James was held on December 31, 2017, and his last service at the ‘Nuwe Kerk’ this past Sunday, January 14.
On Sunday, January 21, Creille will be delivering a final organ recital before leaving town - this will be Graaff-Reinetters’ final chance to hear the maestro play locally.
This amazingly talented man can bring the church organ to life and all are invited to enjoy a magnificent bouquet of music during Creille’s ‘grand finale’.
The recital will be held in the DR Church on the corner of Caledon and Bourke Street at 18:00.
