GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The investigating officer has confirmed that the elderly woman, whose husband was brutally murdered in the attack on Friday morning, September 29, in Graaff-Reinet was not injured physically.
She was taken to Midland Hospital and treated for shock, and admitted for observation and care.
Two family members are expected to arrive today.
Police have named the victims as Conrad Spingies (see photo), and his wife Pat - well-known in the Graaff-Reinet community.
