GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Graaff-Reinet local Lucian Laubscher, the son of dr. Jack and Marissa Laubscher, was recently awarded membership to the Nelson Mandela University's Chapter of the esteemed Golden Key International Honour Society.
By excelling in his studies towards a BSc degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry and Microbiology, Lucian earned himself a lifetime seat at the Golden Key Society table.
The award is in recognition of Lucian's academic excellence, leadership while studying towards a BSc degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry and Microbiology at the university.
Golden Key membership is the highest university accolade awarded to students in the top 15%, and it's strictly by invitation only, so yes, lifetime membership is no trivial feat.
