Possession of drugs
A police official from Aberdeen was doing patrols when he noticed a suspicious female who was carrying a bag. When he approached her and asked to search the bag, he found a substantial amount of dagga.
The 33-year-old woman was arrested and the dagga was handed in at Aberdeen police.
Stock theft
A 48-year-old male complainant reported that he noticed a sheepskin lying near the road while driving on his farm, Villeria. He later found a whole carcass of his merino sheep, which had been slaughtered.
Malicious damage to property
In Lotusville, a man reported that on Saturday 6 July at 12.30pm a suspect arrived at his house and demanded cigarettes. Police spokesperson, Capt Bradley Rawlinson, said the complainant then removed the suspect from his residence. "The suspect then returned to the residence and threw a brick which struck the complainants car, causing damage to the value R1 200.

Assault with grievous bodily harm
A 19-year-old female complainant report that she was visiting her friends, when her ex-boyfriend came and assaulted her by slapping her and kicking her until she fainted.
Burglaries
In Umasizakhe, on 5 July at 2pm, a residence was broken into and a silver Samsung television and a Samsung cellphone were stolen. The front door was broken open.
On Saturday 6 July, a woman from Lupin Street claimed she heard a loud noise inside her home at around 1pm. After investigating, she found someone had entered the house and smashed her son's sound system.
A resident of Stockenstroom Street reported that on Saturday 6 July at 7pm she went to bed. Everything was locked and in order. When she woke up to the dogs were barking, and she found that her backpack and laptop had been taken from her residence. The complainant found the security door slightly forced open.
In Jacaranda Street, between 2 and 6 July, music equipment to the value of R6 000 was stolen.
