KAROO NEWS - Ladies from the St Barnabas Anglican Church knitted squares as part of the Knit a Square drive to create blankets for the ACVV, the local women's shelter, Midros Old Age Home Catholic Soup Kitchen, and some needy folks in the community.
The squares were enough to create 35 blankets.
Di Trollip of Middelburg Karoo Tourism says that it was a pleasure and a privilege to distribute the blankets.
"We do not have words to thank all who contributed enough and especially for your enthusiasm about the Knit a Square drive. May all of you be blessed," says Trollip.
