KAROO NEWS - It was difficult to judge who were the most excited with the reopening of schools today - parents or learners? If there were tears, they were in most instances tears of joy.
Parents wiping away tears of relief as they could again have some quiet time at home and worry less about keeping their children busy and out of mischief.
And the kids happy to have contact with friends and teachers, be stimulated with new information and skills, and to get away from boring mom and dad!
We asked parents to send us photos of their offspring's first school day of 2021 for publication online. A few pics will appear in the Graaff-Reinet Advertiser on Thursday.
