Increase in active Covid-cases in Graaff-Reinet
Residents are urged to comply with regulations in order to curb the spread of Covid-19.

GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - There has been an increase in the number of active COVID-19 cases in the Dr Beyers Naude Local Municipality (BNLM) region.

Graaff-Reinet is a hotspot and currently have the highest number of active cases within the Sarah Baartman District.

The breakdown of active cases per town are as follows: Graaff- Reinet (110), Jansenville (16), Nieu-Bethesda (18) , Aberdeen (11), Rietbron (1) and Willowmore (1).

The hot spot areas are Graaff-Reinet Town, Umasizakhe, Kroonvale, Adendorp, DoornBerg Farm, Jansenville, Nieu-Bethesda and Aberdeen.

The cumulative total is 4 207, including 3 888 recoveries and a total of 162 fatalities.

Residents are urged to comply with regulations in order to curb the spread of Covid-19.
