GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - South African Tourism and the Tourism Business Council of South Africa have asked the tourism industry to submit reasons or motivations as to why specific sub sectors should be allowed to operate sooner than lockdown level 1.
Submissions will be reviewed and incorporated into the sector recovery plan.

2. Complete the form and submit your recommendation. When you submit a reason why your sub sector should open at a higher lockdown level, be very specific about what your sub sector is and why it could be regarded as low risk for contracting or spreading the Coronavirus. For example, self-catering accommodation units where there are no communal areas and no contact with staff.
The due date for submissions is tomorrow, Thursday 14 May.
