GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The reopening of Graws in Graaff-Reinet will mainly depend on funds donated.
"As we approach the new year, we regret to inform you that the reopening date of Graws remains uncertain.
"Our primary focus is on establishing a stable income stream to ensure the long-term sustainability of our organisation," says Graws Director, Wessel Landman.
"We urge the local community, including businesses and individuals, to support our cause financially. The welfare of animals in our community and surrounding areas depends on collective efforts, rather than relying on a few dedicated individuals," Landman says.
"In the interim, our previous manager, Carlin Raath, will oversee the daily care and feeding of the animals at Graws. Please note that Raath also has other commitments and we kindly request your patience when seeking assistance," he said.
Please go and adopt a pet before they are relocated at the end of the month.
The funds received by Graws will be allocated towards settling outstanding accounts and providing medical care to animals in need.
Graws is appealing to the community to support them financially, enabling them to continue serving animals in need.
