SARAH BAARTMAN NEWS - Sassa and the Sarah Baartman District's Department of Social Development recently held a community outreach programme at Witmos Farm in the Blue Crane Local Municipality to bring essential social services to the people.
The aim of the Integrated Community Registration Outreach Programme, held on Thursday 21 August, was to address the significant challenge many rural and remote communities face to access these services.
This was done through outreach activities, registration campaigns, and community engagement initiative.
The outreach was supported by key stakeholders including the Department of Health, Home Affairs, IEC and banking institutions.
