GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The staff of the Sarah Baartman District Education Department in Graaff-Reinet once again honoured the 67 minutes for Madiba by reaching out to the community of Riemvasmaak last week.
With donations from local businesses and individuals as well as staff members, they collected soup ingredients as well as generous clothes donations from individuals and foundations.
They served soup, bread and fruit in Riemvasmaak on Friday 19 July while residents could also select clothes, jackets, shoes and blankets.
The department wishes to express their gratitude to the following business, foundations and individuals: Venter’s Deli, Velletjies Nel Butchery, Dowefontein Farm, Spandau Spar and Camdeboo Spar, Pick n Pay, Blue Ribbon Bread, Pashash, One’s Fate Foundation and the department's staff for their generous donations.
