Neighbours saw smoke coming from the inside of the house and called the fire brigade. Together with traffic officials and the police, they were on the scene within minutes.
The fire was extinguished, but linen and other furniture was damaged. The inside walls also have fire damage, but the fire brigade managed to stop the fire from reaching the outside of the house.
