ABERDEEN NEWS - There were only three noteworthy cases opened by Aberdeen SAPS in the period from 6 November to 13 November, all relatively minor.
The first case is a residential burglary, between 22:00 on 3 November and 02:00 the next morning. The complainant left his home in Thembalesizwe and all windows and doors were locked. When he later returned, he found the back door standing open. Upon investigation, he found cash and some meat to the value of R1 770 had been stolen
The second case is one of stock theft, and took place sometime between 6 November and 8 November. Three piglets were taken from Lotusville - no blood was found at the scene. The case is under investigation.
Sometime between 04:45 and 10:00 on 8 November, a water pump and filter were stolen from a house in van Riebeeck Street. The value of the stolen items is R2 300.
During the same period, there were two arrests for common assault, and five for being drunk and disorderly.
