GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — Birding is a very popular extension of many visitors' purpose in visiting the Camdeboo National Park.
Next weekend, the SANParks Honory Ranger will be hosting a coordinated weekend of bird spotting activities which will see avid birders from all over gather in Graaff-Reinet to try and see how many species they can record over the course of the weekend.
The Camdeboo Birding Weekend – which is now being held for the eighth time – will this year kick off on Friday evening, March 17, with a cocktail function to take place at the Drostdy Hotel’s Imibala Gala.
This event will be held in in conjunction with the launch of the gallery’s new exhibition, Glimpses of Eden.
This event is open to all – not just participating birders – but members of the general public as well.
