GRAAFF-REINET NEWS – You might become aware of increased activity in the sky above Graaff-Reinet this weekend as tens of radio control plane enthusiasts will be descending on the town from today, Wednesday, June 14 to Sunday, June 18 for the town’s annual large scale and turbine jet fly-in.

If you have ever been interested in remote-controlled aircraft, this weekend is your chance to find out just about everything you would ever need to know.

This year's fly-in will be held, as usual, at the Graaff-Reinet airfield, situated just outside of town on the road to Middelburg and all local RC enthusiasts are welcome to come out, see the planes and talk to some of the pilots.

An electric fun-fly will take place at the Botanics Sports Grounds on Friday evening, June 16, followed by a meal at the restaurant.
