LIFESTYLE NEWS - Make-up is a great tool to amp up the glam – but loose powder, lipstick and more can create havoc in the home, whether it’s an accidental spill or a toddler invasion into your make-up box. Obliterate make-up stains fast…
Powders
Luckily, most powders, be they concealer, eyeshadow or blush will come out easily with a pre-wash treatment and normal washing.
Oils
Oils are best tackled by blotting up the excess, dusting in powder like talc to absorb the grease from the fabric, and some gentle brushing off.
If there’s still a notable mark, pre-treat it and wash with a biological washing powder.
Lipstick
The toughest of all to get rid of – lipstick stains can only really be tackled effectively with dry-cleaning liquid, and even that may not be a guarantee.
If it’s a small amount, make sure to remove all excess marks and you may have luck trying the ‘oil’ steps above.
