GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Every year, Shoprite in Graaff-Reinet offers a gift wrapping service in the lead up to Christmas.

Annually, for a nominal donation of just R5 or more, customers are encouraged to take advantage of this added convenience by getting their gifts wrapped for a good cause from 5 December to 24 December.

All proceeds from this gift-wrapping service are then donated by Shoprite to a charity organisation of their choice - which happens to be a local home for the aged, Huis van de Graaff.

Over the past few years, this Christmas gift-wrapping service has raised a substantial amount, however, this year, Shoprite is looking to improve on this significantly, with the help of their loyal customers.

"We want to sincerely thank Shoprite for this gesture," said Rita Theron, Huis van de Graaff's manager. "It is immensely appreciated. We also want to thank all the Graaff-Reinetters who contribute to this fundraising initiative and encourage others to participate this year."
