GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - A 55-year-old woman, accused of killing her husband, appeared in the Graaff-Reinet Magistrate's Court on Tuesday 21 April.
Captain Bradley Rawlinson, the Graaff-Reinet police spokesperson, said it is alleged that the woman stabbed her husband, Billy Karelse (63), with a sharp object outside their residence in Blom se Kamp on Sunday evening, 19 April.
Rawlinson said the deceased suffered one stab wound to his upper chest and was declared dead by paramedics on the scene. The suspect was also arrested on the scene. Her name is being withheld by the police.
The docket is still with the state prosecutor and a new court date is not yet known.
