GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Community members are invited to take action against violence against women and children, as well as to protest xenophobia, at a mass march in Graaff-Reinet on Thursday 12 September at 12.30pm.
“Residents are asked to kindly wear black to show their support against violence,” organiser and councillor Glenda Mackelina told the Advertiser. “United we stand, divided we fall.”
The march will start at the old Graaff-Reinet swimming pool in ward five, and commence to the office of the mayor.
A prayer service will be held at the Alex Lang Hall at 2pm.
