GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - One of Graaff-Reinet's most experienced detectives, Warrant Officer Muis Grobler from Graaff-Reinet Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offenses, left no stone unturned to secure a lengthy sentence for a child rapist.
Lewellen Jansen (18), was found guilty and sentenced to 15 years imprisonment for the rape of an 11-year-old child in Jansenville.
The sentencing took place in the Jansenville Court on Monday 26 August. The crime was reported in June 2018.
Graaff-Reinet Cluster Commander, Brigadier Rudolph Adolph, welcomed the sentencing of the accused and commended Grobler for her thorough investigation.
