GRAAFF-REINET NEWS AND VIDEO - Residents of Kroonvale and Geluksdal in Graaff-Reinet are in dire need of water, as taps run dry.
Since early this morning, Thursday 19 September, people have been sitting in the streets, waiting for trucks to deliver water.
One of the residents, Gavin Martin, told the Advertiser they don’t have any water at all.
“We need drinking water, as well as water for household purposes."
At the moment, municipal and SANParks trucks are transporting water to the residents. This water, however, only a temporary relief.
The acting municipal spokesperson, Wilca Smith, was not available for comment.
This is a developing story.
