GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — On Wednesday afternoon, the organisers will be arriving for the annual Strawdogs Rally to set up equipment in the Urquhart Caravan Park, with the many of the participants expected to arrive on Thursday.
Club chairman Larry Olivier says that everything will be in place for the event by Thursday.
Riders are coming from as far afield as Namibia and Botswana, although the vast majority will be "relatively" local from the Eastern Cape.
On Saturday morning, Caledon Street will be closed for an hour from 10:00 to 11:00 for the stunts, and from there, the participants (and no doubt many spectators) will move on to the drag racing, which, as last year, will take place in front of the airfield.
