Snowfall expected tonight

GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Get cosy and put the kettle on because snowfall is expected across the country, including in the Eastern Cape, this evening (17 August).

According to Storm Report SA, a cold front is expected tonight, which will bring snowfall along with it.

“Snowfall is expected over Graaff-Reinet, Middelburg, Molteno, Tarkastad, Dordrecht, Cradock, Burgersdorp, Aliwal North, and the areas around the Southern Drakensberg like Barkly East and Rhodes,” the report said. Snowfall of up to 5 cm is expected around Tiffindell.
