GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Popular R&B/pop group The Rockets will perform at the Graaff-Reinet Town Hall in the month of May for a fundraising event.
The Cape Town-based band’s performance is being hosted by Kroonvale Primary, a school based in Graaff-Reinet, who will be using the event to raise funds for the completion of their school hall.
The Rockets, who have more than 20 years’ experience in the music industry, has performed at various prestigious music events across the country, including the Jazzathon, Richtersveld Celebrations, Staying Alive Aids Concert filmed by MTV, and recently at the KKNK festival.
They have two South African Music Awards (Samas) under their belts in the best pop performance and best contemporary dance performance categories.
The Rockets will perform on 25 May in the Graaff-Reinet Town Hall for a fundraising event in aid of the Kroonvale Primary School.
The show will be on Friday evening, 25 May, starting at 19:00. Tickets are on sale at R150 with unreserved seating available.
Tickets are available from all Kroonvale Primary School staff.
