KAROO NEWS - The Olifantskop Pass will be closed today, 27 February, for one hour while three abnormal loads carrying three turbine blades pass through it.
The blades are being transported from the Coega harbour in Gqeberha towards Cookhouse via the N2 (Nanaga) and through the N10 (Olifantskop Pass).
The transporting vehicles will be escorted by six traffic vehicles.
Also today, three abnormal loads consisting of one nacelle, one generator and one tower, will be escorted by six traffic vehicles from the Coega harbour in Gqeberha via Motherwell, through Kariega (Uitenhage) on the R75 towards Jansenville.
Road users can expect delays in traffic between 12:00 and 14:00.
