GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - After a strenuous public participation process where eight potential logos for the Dr Beyers Naude Local Municipality’s new corporate brand were submitted, one designed by a local woman was voted for by the community of the vast municipality.
The final logo for the Dr Beyers Naude Local Municipality will be tabled to Council on Thursday, July 13. This comes after the Executive Council of the Municipality approved the logo two weeks ago.
The meeting will be held at the Municipal Auditorium in Church Street, Graaff-Reinet at 11:00.
The winner of the competition, where one of those who submitted their vote for the logo stands a chance of winning a night's stay for two at the Bhejane Game Reserve, will also be drawn during the meeting.
