GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - While the streets of Graaff-Reinet will be filled with the rumble of motorcycles participating in this weekend's Strawdogs rally, the town's skies will echo the stirring sounds of model jets.
The Graaff-Reinet Airfield will once again be hosting jet model aircraft clubs from around South Africa this weekend, Friday, 27 April to Tuesday, 1 May, for the annual turbine jet fly-in.
Entrance is free and the public is welcome to attend this family fun-filled event.
Models of jet fighter aircraft from around the world will be on show and flown about for the duration of the weekend.
All Graaff Reinetters, especially model aircraft enthusiasts, will be more than welcome to come and see the aerobatics performed by these unusual models.
Refreshments will be available on site. Come along and enjoy the spectacular demonstrations of these hobbyists.
