MIDDELBURG NEWS – Residents in Middelburg who receive their water from the Chris Hani District Municipality, must please take note of the following:
Residents cannot be forced to produce a 3-month bank statement to the municipality before opening an account.
If an employee requests this, please take the employees detail - this is illegal.
This has apparently happened to residents in Cradock and was stopped by management.
Residents are urged not to water gardens between 06:00 and 18:00.
No filling up of swimming pools. No washing of cars with hosepipes.
There will be an important PUBLIC MEETING hosted by Tax Payers Forum regarding the WATER DISPUTE/BILLING and other issues on Wednesday, November 15, at the Middelburg Bowling Club at 18:00.
All residents are urged to attend this meeting.
