GRAAFF-REINET NUUS - Marinda Knowles, who was a member of Graaff-Reinet Correctional Services for 28 years, obtained a Master's of Arts Degree in Corrections Management at Unisa in May.
Her research focused on people who are remanded into custody, but who have not been found guilty in a court of law. Knowles found this topic intriguing and had already started with a PhD degree to explore it even further.
"To complete a research article of this nature took a lot of dedication, commitment and hard work. It would not have been possible without the support of my friends and loved ones," Knowles said.
