GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - KFC in Graaff-Reinet did their bit for the community on Sunday, when they donated 35 food packages during a picnic for Vuyani Safe Haven in the Camdeboo National Park.
Staff and a group of volunteers from Lathallan Schools near Johnshaven in Scotland were also present.
“Vuyani would like to thank KFC for their ongoing support of the children in our care,” said the NPO’s marketer Riana van der Ahee.
“For the last few years Vuyani has been the beneficiary organisation in Graaff-Reinet, receiving funding through their Add Hope feeding scheme. The R2 you donate at KFC does indeed benefit the community’s children placed in [our care].”
Van der Ahee also thanked Camdeboo National Park for the use of their lapa at the main entrance and the permits to enter the park and visit the Valley of Desolation.
