GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Union High School in Graaff-Reinet will ‘host’ an at-home 5km Family Fun Run & Walk on Saturday 9 May, and the entire community is invited to join in the fun.
“It doesn't matter whether you complete the 5km on your treadmill, by doing laps around your house, exploring the farm or by walking the streets of your neighbourhood…you can even cycle the 5km!
"Whatever you do, just make sure you participate between 6am and 9am on Saturday,” said Mariëtte Burger, spokesperson of the school.
Locals are encouraged to join the fun in support of the UHS Covid-19 Fund.
“To enter, make a donation of R50 per participant and share your photos with us by tagging us in your Facebook or Instagram posts, by sending your photos via WhatsApp to 061 310 8343 or via email to uhsmarketing@unionschools.co.za,” Burger added.
The best photo contribution will win Union-branded goodies.
