GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — The draft Integrated Development Plan (IDP) and Budget for Dr Beyers Naudé Local Municipality were tabled and adopted by Council at an Ordinary Council Meeting held on 27 March.
Both documents are now available for inspection for the requisite period of 21 days, until Monday, 30 April.
During this period, the Mayoral Outreach is being held to inform the community in all 14 wards about the draft IDP and Budget, including rates and tariff increases.
Copies of the draft 2018/19 IDP and Budget may be viewed at all municipal administrative offices and public libraries in the towns of Dr Beyers Naudé municipal area. All ward councillors should also have a copy.
Written comments and inputs from members of the community will be welcomed and should be submitted no later than Monday, 30 April. They should be addressed to the Municipal Manager (for attention IDP Manager), Box 71, Graaff-Reinet 6280, or emailed to fouchel@bnlm.gov.za.
