GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The Assembly Church in Graaff-Reinet is running their annual mid-year Holiday Club programme in the June/July school holidays, and it starts next week.
This year’s theme is based on the new hit animation movie, Ferdinand, which is a remake of the classic children’s cartoon Ferdinand the Bull.
Every day of Holiday Club is jam-packed with things to do, from crafts to sports, and from games to small group chats. Holiday Club is designed for children to make friends, have fun, and learn about Jesus. It is also a great place to leave your child for the morning if you are a working parent.
They will be taken care of by a well-trained team of about 60 young adults and teenagers that will do their best to make sure that your child gets the most out of the Holiday Club experience.
Holiday Club is happening at Assembly Church in Caledon Street from Monday, 2 July, to Friday, 6 July.
Registration is open each day from 07:30, the program starts at 08:00, and children must be collected at 12:30. They will receive a snack during the morning, so the church encourages children not to bring their own food.
The programme is designed for children from Grade R to Grade 7, and there will be fantastic age-appropriate activities for them to do each day.
As parents, you have the option of allowing your child to join the Holiday Club for the full five-day experience, or simply for the day, or days, that they can attend.
The Assembly Church has managed to keep the cost very low at R140 per child for the full week, or R35 per child per day.The programme is designed for children from Grade R to Grade 7, and there will be fantastic age-appropriate activities for them to do each day.
Registration forms can be collected and dropped off at the Assembly Church office or Assembly House from Tuesday to Friday between 08:30 and 12:00.
