HOFMEYR NEWS - On this Human Rights day, 21 March 2023, Tatu Mbontsi and Gladys Hayiya, both pioneering business owners from Hofmeyr, joined hands with the Hofmeyr Community Development forum and instigated a huge clean up operation on the Pramkoppies, outside Eluxolweni.
Hofmeyr was built in 1873, exactly 150 years ago, in the low lying areas beneath the Prammenkoppen, known as Pramkoppenleegte.
These Twin Peaks have ever since kept an eye over the community!
Municipal workers arrived in their blue municipal overalls to assist in the clearing up process.
